Summer has officially settled into Greater Victoria, and July is one of the busiest months of the year for getting out and exploring everything our communities have to offer.

From waterfront celebrations and neighbourhood markets to live music, local artisans, and family-friendly festivals, there’s something happening almost every day.

As always, this isn’t a complete listโ€”just a collection of some of the events and traditions we look forward to each summer.

Whether you’re discovering a new neighbourhood, supporting local businesses, or simply looking for an excuse to spend more time outside, we hope you find something to enjoy.

Deep Cove Winery Summer Events

Throughout July 2026

Summer is in full swing at Deep Cove Winery with a calendar of live music, vineyard experiences, and special events throughout the month. Whether you’re planning a casual afternoon tasting or an evening overlooking the vineyard, it’s a beautiful way to enjoy one of the Peninsula’s favourite wineries.

Bastion Square Market

Thursdayโ€“Sunday | 11AM-5PM

Every Saturday | 9AM-3PM

Wednesday evenings throughout July

Pack a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy free outdoor concerts at parks across Saanich. Music in the Park features a variety of local performers throughout the summer, making it an easy way to enjoy live music in a relaxed community setting.

July 3 & 4, 2026 | 12โ€“6 PM

Victoria Pride Festival

July 2โ€“5, 2026

Saanich Strawberry Festival

July 5, 2026

A beloved summer tradition, the Saanich Strawberry Festival returns for its 59th year with live entertainment, local vendors, family activities, food trucks, and the festival’s famous strawberries and ice cream.

Oak Bay Night Market

July 8, 2026 | 4:00โ€“8:00 PM

Held on the second Wednesday of the month throughout the summer, the Oak Bay Night Market transforms Oak Bay Village into a lively European-style street market. Phillips Backyard Music Festival

July 10โ€“12, 2026

One of Greater Victoria’s signature summer festivals, Phillips Backyard combines live music, local craft beverages, food trucks, and an energetic atmosphere at Phillips Brewing.

Moss Street Paint-In

July 18, 2026

Celebrating 37 years, the Moss Street Paint-In transforms one of Victoria’s most picturesque streets into an outdoor gallery featuring hundreds of artists and makers.
